Studsvik Solar Park

Studsvik is one of Sweden's largest solar parks. It is located southeast of Stockholm. The project design is the result of a strong collaboration between Nyköbing Municipality, authorities in Södermanland region and Studsvik Tech Park, owned by Studsvik Nuclear AB.

Located southeast of Stockholm, the park is one of Sweden's largest solar installations. Set on industrial land within Studsvik Tech Park, a business park owned by Studsvik Nuclear AB, the project symbolises local authorities' strong support for the growth of solar power in Sweden.

Collaboration with local landowner and businesses

The site is located on industrial land within Studsvik Tech Park, which is a collaborative business park concept owned by Studsvik Nuclear AB. Our strong collaboration with the company Studsvik has been particularly valuable, as they played a key role in the early stages of the development process.

Official opening with the Governor of Södermanland

Studsvik Solar Park was officially opened in October 2024. Among the participants at the inauguration was the Governor of Södermanland, Beatrice Ask. She delivered an opening speech on why it is important to expand solar power in Sweden. Several other key stakeholders also attended the event and shared their perspectives on the project, highlighting its significance and impact.

Among the participants were PPA partners Scan Global Logistics and Vestre. A guided tour introduced both approach, technology and nature expertise applied in the solar park.
