Better Energy's inhouse Power Market and PPA team is responsible for contracting and selling green energy from our parks, monitoring and acting in the power markets, hedging risks and optimising ancillary services to support electricity grid stability.
Adding green energy to phase out fossil fuels
Only by creating and adding new renewable energy can fossil fuels be phased out. Together with our partners, our solar parks are pushing out the black electrons of the electricity grid.
All power generated from Better Energy's renewable energy parks is contracted via long term Power Purchase Agreeements (PPAs), short term forward contracts or sold on the spot markets. 
When supplying additional green energy throug PPAs, we make it easier for companies to choose renewable energy and reduce or phase out their need for fossil fuel.
